AWARD: Nelson Waghiyi-Rookok

Nelson Waghiyi-Rookok, eighth grade student at Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial School in Savoonga, Alaska, was chosen as the recipient of the “Yes, I Can!” awards at the national Council for Exceptional Children Conference. Nelson is the recipient of the Arts category award for his exceptional ability of expressing himself through Native Dance. Well done, Nelson!
