Michael Lee Johnson

Michael Lee Johnson was born on June 23, 1983 in Nome, AK to Beverly Johnson and Jack Shipton, Sr.  He died May 26, 2023 as the result of a bicycle accident.

Michael had six siblings and was the second oldest child in his family. 

Although born in Nome, Michael spent the majority of his life in Seattle, WA with stretches of time in Florida and Alaska. Michael was a generous and exuberant friend. In his eyes, the world was full of friends to meet and fun to be had. He loved his family and friends deeply and passionately.
Michael is survived by his stepfather, Dennis Baskett; his siblings Amanda Johnson (Clayton), Curtis Baskett, Leah Baskett, Jack Shipton Jr, Zebadiah Shipton, Angelina Shipton; and his nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A private service was held in Anchorage, AK.
