Brian David Brockmueller

March 2, 1949 – April 19, 2026

Brian David Brockmueller, son of David and Eileen, was born in South Dakota on March 2, 1949.
He passed away on April 19, 2026.
He was raised on Cedar Ridge Farms and worked on the family farm with his brother, Jerry Brockmueller. Jerry passed away on November 25, 2009.
Brian enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life.
Brian moved to Nome, where he worked as a heavy-equipment operator for several local businesses, including Johnson-Brisk, Inc., J.D. Walsh and Q Trucking. His employers valued his skill and dependability and knew they could count on him to see every project through.
Although he grew up on a South Dakota farm, Brian made Nome his home in 1982. Over the years, he formed many lasting friendships and earned the respect of the Nome community.
Many friends gathered to honor him at his burial at Belmont Point Cemetery on June 17, 2026.
Brian is survived by his nephews, Lance and Nicholas Brockmueller, and their mother Dianne, who always regarded him as a brother. They live in Minnesota.
He is also remembered fondly by his family and friends in South Dakota, including Rudy Brockmueller’s family and his friend Jim Smidt.
Brian will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by all who knew him.
